Brian McGinnis installed a garbage disposal, changed out two faucets and fixed the water level in a toilet tank. He took care of all these things methodically, quietly and with great care. He was meticulous above all, scraping off all the old adhesive that was left from one of the faucets. We were very happy with the work done and will call Perfect Home Services again when the need arises.

Once again Perfect Home Services comes through for us. We had a furnace and A/C condenser from 1987. I’m sure it was a SEER 2. They responded the day we called. Sent a service tech. He condemned the unit due to a lack of replacement parts. He even called Carrier’s Melrose Park branch and they told him the part was not available. The sales rep Chelses was polite and very professional. The technicians Gus, Jacob and Marcos were professional and polite. They picked up everything after they were done. Well done guys! Thanks PHS!!

I would give this company a negative 10 star review if possible. Total scam operation. I wanted a furnace tune up. They told me my furnace was old, and recommended a new furnace. They said it was leaking carbon monoxide from a crack, and shut the furnace down. I declined the new furnace. I got another company scheduled asap. They did the tune up and had no idea what Perfect Home Solutions was talking about. Denied any carbon monoxide leak was present. No not do business with this company!

Scammers! I got a text saying I was signed up for a monthly service at $20/month that I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR! When I texted back saying such they told me I need to fill out a form to cancel. I refused to fill out any form for something I never signed up for in the first place! I best not see any charges on my account. Also they are overpriced anyway.Now they asked me to call them(see the response) and of course didn’t answer. They attempted to charge my account for their “VIP service” even though I never signed up for ANY service with them. As a matter of fact I haven’t used them in almost 2 years because they are overpriced. So if you are reading this you know where you can reach me. I’ll be waiting for your call.

I’m not one to leave reviews or complain about anything but I am not pleased at all with their services. I just had a furnace tune up and was told of a “suspected” crack in the heat exchange and that I needed a new furnace due to the potential for carbon monoxide. I had another company come out for a second opinion, they took apart my furnace, and confirmed no cracks. I also had a plumbing tune up where the tech told me that we had dangerous levels of chlorine in our water. We had the Village come out to show us that the levels were fine. Overall seems like they don’t have very knowledgeable technicians that use scare tactics to sell their services.

David Biriliac came in this morning to install the kitchen faucet, garbage disposal and also found a leakage in the pipe connected to the sump and fixed it. He was very professional, came on time, fixed things really fast. He was also friendly and courteous. Extremely good job and they came at a moment’s notice.1/302025 - Corey Arce came in for Furnace maintenance. He did a fabulous job. He not only took care of the necessities but also took great care in cleaning up the furnace to stop likely future problems. Excellent!

If I could give a -10 review, I would. We have had no heat and called for service yesterday. We were scheduled for service between 8-10am this morning. After not showing up, we called to make sure we were on the schedule for today. We were told that technician was running behind on his 1st job, but we were next on the list. At 2:30 pm with no tech or call from them, we called again. We were reassured that a tech. would be out for service shortly. I explained that it was 61 degrees in my house and if they were unable to service us, please just let me know so I could make other arrangements. The girl on the phone assured us that someone would be out today to take care of the problem.At 4:55 we called again and now the answering service told us someone would be reaching out to us shortly. Did we receive a call back, no! This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They obviously don't care about their customers, we are repeat ones, since the low is going to be -2 tonight and we have no working heat. Thanks Perfect Homes Services for wasting our time today. You should change your name to Negligent Home Services or Awful Homes Services. I will never use your company again. Thankfully, another company will be out tomorrow morning.

I wish zero stars was an option. I was told the tech would arrive between 8-10am. 10am rolls around and I call to ask if I was still on the schedule. The girl said I was the next stop and would receive a call when he was on the way. It is now 5:45pm and no sight or call from the tech. This is some of the worst service I have ever experienced. My house is without heat and I am so cold. Thanks for nothing!

I can highly recommend this company and the way the furnace and air conditioning were installed. The installers were very good. As they worked and when they finished any questions we had were answered by them. They were careful in our home and cleaned up when done. This is the way that I feel about how these installers did the work at my home. I will now have a good furnace and air to meet the weather conditions. The maintenance inspection was done 2 years later and the checkup that was done was also very complete and any questions I had were answered.We just had our home ductwork cleaned and can highly recommend this service from Perfect Home Services. This was also done very well and any questions I had were answered. We also have home checkups for the plumbing, furnace and air conditioner.

We’re highly dissatisfied with the service done Jan 23, 2025 from Christopher Archibald and Jake Troyer that was done at my elderly grandparents residence. Not only did you all remove the flow unit and didn’t install the water softener you spoke to Mrs. Dees about installing, but you all left my grandmother that’s on oxygen and my wheelchair bond grandfather home with no hot water and heat. How do you not check/verify that the water heater and furnace is working properly before you leave. Also winter in IL tonight being 7 degrees. This is unacceptable, corporate and BBB will be contacted. Over the years of being a loyal customer, the services done has been more and more subpar. Again we are highly dissatisfied with the service that wasn’t completed!

They were very professional in their dealing. They explained the workings of thermostat and other components very well. They tested every component.It’s nothing to do with their approach, but a downside I found is (1) the way the look of the new furnace finish and (2) how the condenser was left on the base of the already existing supporting frame, which I explain it below:(1) the foil tape that they used to plug the gap in the joins of the furnace ducts is sticking out, which is not giving a good finishing look. That part of the work appears to be kind of a patch work. They explained me that it’s as per the city code but i still feel that it could have made aesthetically looking better.(2) the size of the ac unit was bigger than the size of the existing supporting frame that was holding the old unit. They took out old ac unit but placed the new bigger ac unit on the existing smaller supporting base causing the new unit to appear sticking out slightly out of the base. Again, this also has an impact on the aesthetic aspect of the finishing look.Besides these two issues that affects the aesthetic look of the finishing work, everything was perfect including the start and the end of work, their professionalism, and cleaning the area after finishing work, etc. was perfect.

Be alert, be cautious, don’t get pushed into a hasty expensive decision when you hear your perfect home services technician say “cracked heat exchanger!” PHS was brought in June to check out the A/C. Instead, the technician started by checking the furnaces, painted a picture of imminent danger due to carbon monoxide poisoning. We had just had the furnace checked out a few months ago. The Heat Exchanger / Imminent danger is part of this company's MO. Now don’t get me wrong, Carbon monoxide should be taken seriously, and we have CO detectors, including one very close to the furnace. But honest people would never ever use a false threat of danger to sell furnaces. Check them out on Yelp for a full run down. Save yourself unnecessary expense. Footnote to the story. Start to use furnaces in Sept. - turns out the technician had disconnected one of the furnace's inducer motors - without telling us - preventing the furnace from starting up. I'm sure this was done in the name of “safety” Oh - and the tech wrote up over $6000 worth of repairs on the furnaces and A/C's.Stay away. January update, furnaces running fine.

My Boiler would not turn on, on January 14th 2025 which, as of today, was the coldest day of the winter season with temps in the single digits overnight. The temperature inside my home got into the 30s, brutally cold.A technician showed up the following morning and changed my ignition module which fixed the issue and my boiler was able to fire up. A tune-up was also performed by the technician and these were all repairs covered under warranty.However because the heating cycles lasted a long time to heat the house back up, the system had to work overtime and my expansion tank thus failed and my relief valve began to pop after several warming cycles because the failed expansion tank led to excess pressure in the system.The original tech told me my expansion tank replacement wasn't covered and I was livid. He claimed the old expansion tank was in use and my boiler system was new and only 2 years old. There should not have been old parts on a new unit to begin with.I reached out to management and found out that ABC Plumbing had taken over Perfect Home Solutions and the manager Melanie Franco did a magnificent job of taking a deeper dive into my account to find out that my expansion was replaced 2 years ago and was definitely covered. Not only did she make sure another tech (AL) came by to replace the tank, they also replaced my relief valve that popped several times and now my system works like new.Unfortunately, because my house was so cold before the boiler could be fixed, some of my pipes froze and upon thawing caused settlement inside my faucet fixtures and filter installed in my toilet. I was able to clear all of the debris myself though and everything is working normally.Giving 5 stars, not on behalf of the first tech (because I had to do some unnecessary phone calling and research on possibly fixing the issues with the expansion tank myself even though it wasnt his fault but more of his company's fault for not having accurate records readily available) but giving 5 stars for the efforts of Melanie Franco with ABC Plumbing and the technician AL with Perfect Home Solutions for helping make all my troubles go away without having to come out of pocket during an emergency.

We've used Perfect Home Services for a few years - they were incredible in the past - they fixed our floor water heaters when other service providers couldn't figure it out and hand held us through a pipe burst in such a caring manner. Such great people that I had entered into a VIP membership with and trusted to take care of my condo when we became landlords.Unfortunately my 2 most recent experiences have turned me from advocate to adversary. The TLDR is that for whatever reason they now focus on profit over customer experience, try to upsell you, and have a created a bureaucracy in which you can't get issues resolved timely.1. While maintenancing my HVAC system in the spring, they told me I needed a $3k part. I actually work for an HVAC conglomerate that has a business based in the burbs and I had them send one of their guys over to verify. I was told that was an incorrect diagnoses and what I needed was a couple hundred dollar part instead.2. We are now landlords and in early September our tenants had a leak in the nursery for their baby due in December. They came out, investigated the leak told us we needed to take out our walls and our ceiling so they could diagnose, which we did. Got it all fixed through a combo of dishwasher parts and clearing a pipe clog.After 2 months of debating with insurance to get the reconstruction of the room done, we finally got the walls back up and room functioning. ONE WEEK later there was another leak in that room, so we called Perfect Home Services. I was called by their plumbing manager and told that they misdiagnosed our plumbing issue originally and they needed to pull the walls back out. Walls were pulled out and then they told me that the pitch in our plumbing was wrong and that they were going to have to do a full re-piping that would cost over $5k and likely involve us having to take out walls in other bedrooms. I was very pissed, as we were nearing my tenants due date, but told them to go ahead.The final crew came out, said that the pitch was fine and they just needed to clear a deep clog in our pipe. They fixed it and left. Now we needed to get the walls back up, which was something the plumbing manager told me he would pay for. I could not get ahold of the plumbing manager - he was ghosting my calls and I ended up calling the office and was told he had been fired. I asked to be connected with the new plumbing manager and was told they were in meetings for 3 days and couldn't respond to me. I explained the importance of timing here as my tenants were due with their baby in a few weeks, and got no where.They then told me I would go through some sort of customer success and was assigned a contact and she would call me in 24-48 hours - I explained that wasn't okay, I needed this done ASAP. They said they would try. I gave them 24 hours and then I called them again, was told there was nothing they could do to expedite. This is the point where I lost it on the poor customer service person on the call and she finally made an effort to help me - I think she got my customer success person to call me later that day, if memory serves.The customer success person was super apologetic and made sure to get the reconstruction done within 5 days. My tenants were happy and I was relieved to have this done.....Now today. I just received an invoice in my e-mail for $5k for the re-piping that didn't happen. The invoice even says "Did not collect payment as invoice will need to be revised". LOL.I had to call the office. The person on the phone was very confused and said she has to pass this along to her plumbing manager who will call me back at some point... and again here we go back on the hamster wheel of confusion and taking up too much of my time.

Caveat Emptor.ABC Plumbing, which acquired Perfect Home Services is NOT recommended. I recently had the unfortunate experience with them of having a defective control panel on a 2 year old water heater that needed replacing.While the cost of the part of the original manufacturer was covered under warranty, I was given a ridiculous LABOR quote for 20 minutes of work plus commuting time to pick up the part for over $1,000, I mentioned this to the tech, contacted the company, but was not called back for over a week.Needless to say, when its days before Christmas and you have a house full of guests that need hot water, I did not have much leverage.I should have hired a white shoe law firm because that would have been cheaper. I will never use these people again unless they want to give me a refund or credit. I recommend others that are just as competent but charge a fair rate, which in my view would be 2x the cost of the union pipefitter or probably $300-$500 max.

Suggested diagnostic fee was ridiculously high for the work that a needed to be done. When I declined the work the tech tried to charge me a fee for this. The fee was never mentioned to me when I first called to get an appointment. Tried to sign me up for a subscription that was also never mentioned. Totally disappointed with this experience.

Worst company. Stay away, they installed 2 furnaces and ever since they did that we had 3 rooms without any heat. We then had them come several times to try to figure out what the problem was. They had us spend thousands of more dollars installing flexible ducts to correct what they thought was the problem which turned out to be unnecessary since it failed. Big company, impersonal, and couldn't care less about their customers .

They were incredibly responsive.I called in the morning,that same day in the early afternoon they had a technician out to do a thorough investigation into the problems.We decided to get prices for replacements instead of repairing my existing equipment.They had an salesman out that same evening.We agreed upon a price and the very next day they sent two professional installers to complete the job.I would highly recommend them for anyone with immediate HVAC issues.

Woke up to my heat not working despite the thermostat being set to 70 degrees. It was 61 degrees in the house. I called PHS to schedule a tech appointment. They were able to send a tech the same day. DeStan Turner serviced the HVAC and walked me through what he was doing. He ensured I understood each step of the process. DeStan was professional, down to earth, and clear with his communication. When I use PHS in the future, I'll absolutely request DeStan to come out! He's the man!

I wish I could give Brian of Perfect Home Services 10 stars. He is courteous, professional and very knowledgeable of his job. We had a plumbing problem which Brian figured out and fixed the problem. Not only is Brian wonderful, it started with my phone call. The lady who initially took my call was courteous and professional as well. I also was sent a text to keep me updated and if I text the company I received a prompt response. I am so glad I found Perfect Home Services. I am referring them to family and friends. I will tell them to request Brian if possible.

I have been having nothing but trouble with my furnace and air-conditioner. I bought it 2 years ago paid over $18,000 and constantly having problems!!!! I have warranty and they ALWAYS want to charge me. Getting FED up with Perfect home services they are NOT PERFECT!!!Had to call back at 6;30pm and 10:45pm and noone called us back. Heat is down to 62 degrees in the house and we all are freezing. We are in long underwear, sweatpants; hoodies, snuggles , and will have to sleep with 5 blankets each. my mom brought us some blankets my aunt. did also. Next morning still not call backso I'm making my THIRD call it's 59 degrees in my house now. I should call ABC news to let them know how PERFECT HOME SERVICES TREATS THEIR CUSTOMERS!!

I'd like to give the technician 5 stars. He was very professional and gave a good explanation of the situation and how to fix it.I thought it was a bit costly, but ... I was able to use a coupon that knocked off a little.HOWEVER, I was disappointed with the after hours phone service. The person who took the call told me I would be a priority and contacted around 7 am. When that didn't happen I called again, and the same person (although she denied she talked to me) told me I would be a priority and contacted around 8 am. Again, that didn't happen, so I called directly to the office and was scheduled. I'm not sure if she ever forwarded the message.
